This is a Community Build So We Need As Many Local Parents and Community Members Involved As Possible!

Your neighborhood needs your helping hands! Whether you're a parent, neighbor, or community member, your participation will help create a safe and vibrant playground for our children.

No construction experience needed - just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to help.

Together, we'll build something amazing that will serve our community for years to come.

Prep Day Volunteers

These 45 volunteers (30 on Prep Day 1; 15 on Prep Day 2) will help unload equipment, inventory materials, cut wood, prep the playground site, sort hardware, and prime our painting projects.

Team Leaders

These are the 15-20 volunteers who lead the project teams. We’re looking for people who are good at engaging volunteers, safety focused, and have lots of energy. They need to be available for a 1 hour training before Build Day and will need to be on site at 6:30AM on Build Day!

Build Day Volunteers

These 50 volunteers will be helping construct the playground pieces and side projects. This may include putting together a spiral slide, moving mulch, gardening, building benches, and painting.

Registration Table

These are 5-6 people who will welcome volunteers, help them sign a waiver, get a nametag, and direct them to breakfast. It will be important that these volunteers are familiar with using laptops and tablets. We will be using an online check-in system, Eventbrite.

Lend A Hand To Bring A Smile

There are 3 very VITAL expectations that we have of each volunteer

Expectation #1

Committment. We need each volunteer to be committed to the the entire day they are on site. Day 1 & 2 start at 8:30a and ends at 3:30p. Day 3 starts at 8a and ends at 2:30p. On day 3 the ceremony begins at 2:30p.

Expectation #2

Time Awareness. We need volunteers that will be registered and in place to begin at the designated start times. Every one will have bathroom breaks and will be fed.
